MGA Links At Mamantapett, previously named Wading River Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Norton, Massachusetts.
The course first opened for play in 1967
This short par 3 course has many trees that can affect your shots and eight water hazards. The fairways are wide, and the greens are large. This is a great location for beginners taking up the game or experienced players who just want to work on their short game.
In April 2003, the Massachusetts Golf Association purchased MGA Links at Mamantapett in hopes of expanding the game of golf and its inherent values to juniors, seniors, and women across the state.
The golf course, formerly known as New Wading River Country Club, sits on 29 acres of land and features a 2,400 yard, par-3 golf course with a design of holes that holds youthful interest yet also challenges the more skilled golfer. MGA Links is a public golf course, but various membership categories – junior, individual, family – allow for golfers of all ages to call the golf course home.
MGA Links is also the home to The First Tee of Massachusetts and provides learning and instructional opportunities for junior golfers of all ages and abilities throughout the year. On an annual basis, The First Tee of Massachusetts opens its door to over a dozen youth agencies and schools to come and enjoy a variety of golf programs.
